PURPOSE:To prolong the accumulative operation of a gas laser oscillator remarkably by improving a resonator, mounting a plurality of output mirrors having different transmittance onto an output mirror holder, selecting proper arbitrary one from the output mirrors and using it as the output mirror. CONSTITUTION:An output mirror holder 4 is fixed and supported onto a gimbal plate 10a with a metallic member 11 such as a screw, which passes through the center of the holder 4 and also functions as a shaft turning the holder 4. A plurality of output mirrors 61-66 having different transmittance are fitted to the output mirror holder 4 so as to have the centers on the circumference of a circle passing through the center of the metallic member 11. The output mirror 61 positioned at a point P, and a hole section for an optical path for the gimbal plate serves as an actual output mirror at that time. The output mirror holder is rotated, arbitrary one of the output mirrors 61-66 is selected and set at the point P, and the metallic member 11 is clamped and fixed, thus using the output mirror having predetermined transmittance, then freely extracting the aimed maximum output. |
