PURPOSE:To adjust the characteristics of many magnetic material pices individually and to provide the magnetic material pieces having the desired magnetic characteristics at an excellent yield rate, by measuring the magnetic characteristics of the magnetic material pieces, and peforming heating for annealing until the desired characteristics are adhieved. CONSTITUTION:Before annealing work, multi-channel heads are mounted on a sample stage 14 at first. An exposed surface 8 of a magnetic material piece 3 is aligned on a path of a laser beam 17. Leads 6 and 7 are connected to an inductor meter and a current is conducted. A magnetic sensor 15 is positioned at positioned at a gap part 4. Then, the laser beam 17 is projected on the exposed surface 8 and scanning is performed. During the annealing, the permeability and the coercivity are measured by the inductor meter and a gauss meter. When the values reach the specified values, the annealing is finished. The same annealing is performed for the neighboring magnetic material piece. Thus, the precise adjustment of the characteristics can be performed for the heads. |
