CONDUCTIVE CORE BODY FOR ALKALINE BATTERY

摘要

PURPOSE:To enhance the tensile strength and increase productivity of a conductive core body by filling powdery thermoplastic resin on both end parts of a metal fiber sintered body and fixing the resin via heating. CONSTITUTION:A sintered fiber substrate 1 is formed by sintering a belt-like fiber distributed body composed of 4-100mum-diameter metal fibers; filled resin parts 2 are formed and fixed by heating on both end parts of the substrate 1 by filling powdery thermoplastic resin (e.g. polyvinyl chloride powder. This structure results in enhancement of tensile strength and elimination of substrate amputation in electrode plate manufacturing process with increase of productivity.
