PURPOSE:To permit the perfect unmanned operation of a robot for the working onto the both surfaces of a workpiece by once demounting the workpiece for which one-side surface machining is completed, from a robot, and reversing the workpiece by a reversing apparatus and feeding the workpiece onto a machine tool, holding the workpiece by a robot again. CONSTITUTION:When a semiworked workpiece Wq is demounted from a chuck 5 by a robot 2 and once loaded onto the receiving plate 26 of a reversing apparatus 12, and an arm 32 is closed, the center of the inner diameter is set correctly onto the center of a cut part, and fixed onto the receiving plate 26. After the holding by a robot hand 11 is released, and the robot is retreated, the receiving plate 26 is reversed by 180 deg. with the workpiece Wq, which is positioned under the receiving plate 26. Then, the hand 11 is lowered again, and a hook 18 is inserted into the inner diameter of the workpiece Wq and held, and the workpiece Wq is inverted and held onto the hand 11. When a clamping apparatus 27 is released and an arm 9 is retreated, the workpiece Wq is pulled-out forward along the cut part, and transferred towards a lathe 1 by turning the arm again, and the semiworked workpiece Wq is delivered to the chuck 5 and set. |
