PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. which is readily cured to give a silicone rubber having excellent low-temperature characteristics, consisting of an alpha, omega-vinyldimethylpolysiloxane, a cyclic siloxane, a filler and a platinum compd. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. alpha, omega-vinyldimethylpolysiloxane (A) having an average degree of polymn. of 50 or below and a ratio of the weight-average MW to the number-average MW of 1.5 or below, represented by formula I (wherein n is 1-50), a cyclic siloxane (B) contg. at least three identicalSiH bonds per molecule and having formula II [wherein R is H, an (un)substituted satd. monovalent hydrocarbon group; m is 3-6] in an amount of 0.5-7 identicalSiH bonds qer vinyl group in component A, 0-500pts.wt. filler (C) such as fumed silica, diatomaceous earth, CaCO3, TiO2 or carbon black and 0.1-50ppm (based on the amount of component A) of a platinum compd. (D) such as platinum black or chloroplatinic acid (alcohol-modified product) as a catalyst are uniformly mixed. |
