A device for storing relatively large quantities of non-toxic or non-harmful liquids consists of at least one container (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) which is closed all around and has at least one connection aperture (10, 11). In order to design the device to be less complex and also to allow economic storage of liquids of little value, such as liquid manure, the containers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) are made of flexible film, a substantially rigid support device (6, 8) being provided which surrounds at least the bottom region and the lateral circumferential regions of the containers. The support device may be a pit (6) in the ground with a wall (8) surrounding it. <IMAGE>
