The object of the invention is to create a quick-release flange coupling which, in addition to inexpensive manufacture and simple assembly, is distinguished by defined loading of the clamping inserts and, at the same time, guarantees rapid overhaul of the clamping device. This object is achieved according to the invention by virtue of the fact that conical clamping inserts (4) are arranged on the side opposite to the direction of rotation in a radially extending hole (9) with a corresponding outward taper provided centrally in the overlap region of two claws (3, 6) and that the screws (5) are provided at the radial inside of the tapered clamping inserts (4) with a respective flange-like widened portion. <IMAGE>
