Removal device for a tyre which is seated on the radially inner side of a rim flange, having a removal lever which can be fitted onto the wheel tyre via thrust bearings and on which a removal tool which engages on the tyre bead is mounted with spring pretensioning, which tool initially executes the radially inwardly directed movement during the swivelling of the removal lever in order to release the tyre bead from the rim and then executes an axially outwardly directed movement.
