<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device where a record medium (paper) where an image is formed is turned in the case of both vertical and horizontal manuscripts is bound at a position for easily reading an image on the next page by a stapler. SOLUTION: A manuscript placement state, inverted state on an FBS, and the state of the paper where an image is formed and printed out are indicated by (a), (b), and (c), respectively. In this state, image data are supplied to an image formation section in the paper that has been printed out from an image- reading section so that the reading direction of the paper is not changed. As shown in (d), the paper is inverted by a paper inversion mechanism and is bound at a specific position by a staple. By using the inversion mechanism, the upper left section of the paper is bound by a staple T by inverting the paper in (d) for setting a reference position Y to the upper left corner as shown in (e).</p> |
