PURPOSE:To enable to easily and conveniently provide a necessary maintenance work for a heat exchanger, by bending and cylindrically protruding the plates of hollow panels on the same side to the outer side around a through-hole, and by forming a back-up ring, whose free end abuts against the side face of a neighboring hollow panel and also fits to the external periphery of a ring sealing by each protruded part. CONSTITUTION:A back-up ring 21 is protruded on one side of a hollow panel 1. It is formed by bending and cylindrically protruding the plate 2 on one side to the outer side around a through-hole 10, leaving the part by which a reinforcement ring 11 is pinched unbended. A specified number of hollow panels 1 are juxtaposed so that a fluid feed pipe 8 and a fluid discharge pipe 9 can pierce through the through-holes 10 which are provided in the expanded parts 7 of hollow panels 1 respectively. In this case, an annular sealing parts 20 are respectively provided in the gap between a joint pipe 17 and a neighboring hollow panel 1, in the gap between neighboring panels 1, and on the outer side of the extreme hollow panel 1 in such a manner that they are fitted to the outer peripheries of a fluid feed pipe 8 and a fluid discharge pipe 9, and also fitted to the inner peripheries of back-up rings 21 protruding to one side of each hollow panel 1. |
