PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic toner good in magnetic characteristics, and capable of forming a fogless superior image fixed without accompanying any offset trouble by incorporating a specified magnetic powder and a specified releasing agent in a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic toner is prepared by incorporating the magnetic powder containing 50-100wt% metallic iron, and a releasing agent selected from a group of (A) fatty acid ester wax, (B) partially saponified fatty acid ester wax, (C) fatty acid amide wax, and (D) higher fatty acid wax, and other necessary toner components in the binder resin. The releasing agent is added in an amount of 1-10wt%, and if it is <1wt%, an effect as a releasing agent is not exhibited, and accordingly, the offset trouble cannot sufficiently be prevented. On the other hand, if it is >10wt%, the fluidity of the magnetic toner drops, resulting in deteriorating both of developability and transferability, and hardly forming a good image. |
