Method for manufacturing and using tennis racquets having an elongated handle for players of different physical dimensions

A method is described for manufacturing and using tennis racquets having an elongated handle, it being necessary to ascertain the correct handle length and distribution of weight of said racquets. These parameters are determined taking into account the physical dimensions of the players and the most favourable type of racquet for each case is designed. Tennis racquets with telescopically variable handles may also be used for this purpose, it being possible to telescope the handle into a plurality of sections of approximately equal length and to pull it out again. Furthermore, specially flexible and elastic racquets may be used, the handle and shaft of which are made of a glass fibre or fibreglass material to the core and/or are provided with steel springs which are built into the handle in addition.
