PURPOSE:To ensure that a thermal recording medium is not wrinkled during feeding thereof even when a base film thereof is thin and prevent the medium from being mis-delaminated from a transfer paper, being wound around a feeding roller in a machine or jamming, by specifying the ratio of the surface resistance of a heat-fusible ink layer to that of the opposite side and both of the surface resistances. CONSTITUTION:The ratio A/B of the surface resistance A according to JIS C-2122 of the heat-fusible ink layer 2 to the surface resistance B of the opposite side 3 is set to be 0.1-10.0, preferably, 0.5-5.0. This is achieved by incorporating a conductive material into the ink layer and an anti-sticking layer, providing a matted layer 4 or opaque layer 5 comprising a conductive material between a base 1 and the ink layer 2, or providing a layer 6 comprising a conductive material as an anchor coat layer. The surface resistance of each of the ink layer and the anti-sticking layer is preferably not more than 2.0X10<14>OMEGA/square. |
