<p>PURPOSE:To prevent tension fluctuation and to improve the accuracy of an elongation by leading out the fluctuation of rolling force arising from the control of the elongation and correcting the speed of a material to be rolled on the inlet side or outlet side of a rolling mill according to the above-mentioned fluctuation. CONSTITUTION:The rolling force when the elongation detected by an elongation detector 19 is equal to a reference value Eref is held by a rolling force hold 23. An elongation controller 20 outputs the fluctuation-component of the elongation as a reduction adjustment signal to generate a deviation from the above- mentioned hold value when the elongation fluctuates. A feed forward speed signal to compensate the tension fluctuation is outputted to speed control devices 14, 15 by using speed correction control devices 21, 22 which output speed correction signals by multiplying the deviation signal by a prescribed control gain. The devices 14, 15 control the speeds of a motor 6 for rolling and a motor 8 for an outlet side bridle roll, respectively, to preliminarily suppress the tension fluctuation with respect to the fluctuation of the rolling force, thereby preventing the tension fluctuation.</p> |
