In a device for supporting trackways, especially those made of trackway sections which can be joined together, for moving vehicles, some distance above mounting surfaces, the trackway sections having a passable central section which is bounded on the sides by guiding bodies, at least two supports (3) are provided for the stable support of the trackways above mounting surfaces, the said supports (3) being arranged vertically on a level baseplate (1) at a distance from and next to one another and having at least one support (5) for supporting trackway sections (6) in a fixed or loose manner on the sides facing one another or the sides facing and turned away from one another. <IMAGE>
