The invention relates to a stethoscope having a structure-borne sound sensor with an operational connection to a transmitter, and relates to a receiver tuned to this transmitter and having an operational connection to a signal generator according to Patent Application P 3521019.2, there being arranged in the operational connection between the transmitter and receiver or in one of these two elements a filter which produces the same frequency response as a stethoscope having a rubber hose connection between the diaphragm and ear of the receiver.
