<p>The apparatus comprises a drum which is rotatable about its horizontal axis, is provided with aerating openings and has in its jacket a closable filling opening and on its end faces precisely axial stub shafts, which are borne by parts of a frame. By virtue of the fact that the aerating openings (8) are formed by a multiplicity of openings in the jacket (7) of the drum (2), it is possible with an extremely simple design of the apparatus for it to be filled continually with new waste and, with good aeration, for only the rotted waste to leave the drum. <IMAGE></p> |
