Easily openable shrink package and method for producing same.

Described herein is an easily openable shrink package (1) employing a pliable thread (4) as a package opener. The opener thread (4) is securely bonded on the inner surface of a thermally shrinkable film (2) which wraps in an article (3) to be packaged. Upon shrinking the film (2) in a heating atmosphere, the opener thread (4) is contacted length-wise in a degree commensurate with the shrinkage of the film (2) by flexing deformations in radial directions. A packaging method for producing such easily openable shrink packages is also disclosed herein.
