PURPOSE:To obtain a plate surface protective agent having good desensitizing power and good emulsion stability, by using starch phosphate as a hydrophilic org. macromolecular compound. CONSTITUTION:The title protective agent is an emulsion consisting of an oil phase comprising an org. solvent containing a surfactant and an aqueous phase containing a hydrophilic org. macromolecular compound in a dissolved state and starch phosphate is used as said hydrophilic macromolecular compound. Said starch phosphate is prepared by reacting starch with phosphorus oxychloride, sodium trimetaphosphate, orthophosphate, polyphosphate, phosphoric acids such as phosphoric acid or org. phosphonic acid and the pref. range of the substitution ratio (esterification ratio) in starch phosphate is 0.03-1.0. In the aqueous phase of the plate surface protective agent, various other hydrophilic org. macromolecular compounds can be used in combination with starch phosphate. |
