PURPOSE:To make it possible to introduce a large amount of a specimen without damaging the stability of a light source, by introducing a large amount of the specimen into the light source as fine aerosol particles thereof. CONSTITUTION:The carrier gas introduced from an inlet 1, for example, argon or nitrogen passes through the heating pipe of an electric furnace 6 and, during passage, mist like moisture or solvent is evaporated and gassified to separate a mixture consisting of the aerozol of a specimen and the gaseous solvent. This mixture is cooled by the next water cooling pipe 9 and a part of the solvent is liquefied to be excluded. Further, the remaining gaseous solvent is liquefied in a low temp. trap 14 to be frozen on the wall of a pipe. The aerosol of the specimen from which moisture or the solvent was removed is guided to a light source through a conduit 15. |
