SENSE COMPARATOR CIRCUIT, AND ITS OFFSET COMPENSATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sense comparator capable of properly compensating an offset of a sense comparator, and suitable for signal processing of an output signal in a magnetic sensor circuit or the like. SOLUTION: Signals S3-S7 are supplied serially from a control circuit 14 to respective gates T31-T72, and a capacitor C2 is charged until brought into a voltage value corresponding to the offset of the sense comparator COMP. The T41 is turned on when confirming a polarity direction of the offset of the sense comparator COMP. The T51 is turned on and off to switch a connecting position of the capacitor C2. Only one set out of a set of the interlocked T61 and T62 and a set of the interlocked T71 and T72 is turned on to charge the capacitor C2 to a direction in response to a polarity direction of the offset. An output of a comparator 11 is used to confirm the polarity direction of the offset and timing of finish of the charge for the capacitor C2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
