PURPOSE:To improve the magnetic performance, mechanical properties and reliability of a resin-bonded type magnet, and to reduce lost by molding a preformed resin-bonded type massive material to a desired shape through warm plastic working lower than the melting point of a resin. CONSTITUTION:A primary element molded shape is manufactured through a magnetic-field compression molding method or an inter-magnetic field extrusion molding method from a mixture of the permanent magnet powder of a rare earth intermetallic compound, Ba ferrite Sr ferrite, etc. and nylon 6, nylon 12 or other thermoplastic resins (a binding agent). The molding massive material is extrusion-molded while being heated at a temperature lower than the melting point of a bonding resin through a hot extrusion molding method, thus acquiring a finished product. Since the direction of orientation of a magnetic field and the direction of extrusion are the same, orientation is not disordered and a dense molded shape is obtained, thus improving magnetic performance and mechanical properties. |
