<p>The invention provides imidazoles of general formula <CHEM> and acid-addition salts thereof, wherein R represents an optionally substituted phenyl group, R<1> represents an optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, aryl or aralkyl group, R<2> represents a hydrogen atom, a cyano group, a -CONH2 group, or an optionally substituted alkyl group, and X represents an oxygen atom or a =NOR<3> moiety where R<3> is a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, alkylcarbonyl, aryl or aralkyl group; processes for their preparation, and their use as fungicides.</p> |
