<p>PURPOSE:To perform a good picture transmission by synthesizing and transmitting the code of bits, setting the highest-order bit of changed bits as reference, with combining low-ordered bits continued from the next bit of th highest-order one and the address code of the bit that represents the bit position. CONSTITUTION:Assuming that a digital code consists of M-number of bits, setting the highest-order bit of the changed bits in each bit at each digital code as the reference, m-number of low-order bits continued from the next order bit of the highest-order bit and n-number bits of address codes that represent the bit positions of the m-number of the lower-order bits are combined and the signal of (m+n) bits (provision; m+n<M) is generated and the code of (m+n) bits is transmitted. The signal of (m+n) bits has the differential code of (m+1) regarding a picture. Therefore, it is possible to perform a good picture transmission by the digital code having a regulated code length fewer than the number of bits of the digital code.</p> |
