PURPOSE:To obtain a high revolving capability by arranging a light source in the space which is demarcated with planes orthogonal to each other which are formed with axes of optical fibers and light input axes of two monitor devices and does not include planes including light input axes of two monitor devices. CONSTITUTION:In case of alignment between optical fibers 11 and 12, the power source of a light source 20 is turned on, and placing bases 13 and 14 are moved while watching images of cores projected on monitor televisions 23 and 24 through television cameras 18 and 19 and controller 22 so that both cores coincide with each other in horizontal and vertical directions. After alignment is completed, a connection part 17 is connected by welding with a heating means or the like. Since the light source 20 and a filter 21 are arranged between television cameras 18 and 19 arranged orthogonally to each other, the light passing the filter 21 or the like is not made incident directly on television cameras 18 and 19. Thus, the image resolving capability is improved considerably. |
