<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the space occupied by an auxiliary water heating source unit as well as the heat release loss by connecting the auxiliary water heating source unit close to the hot water outlet of the first passage connecting the main water heating source unit and the hot water outlet, and providing an opening/closing valve that opens/closes the second passage branched from the first passage depending on the temperature of the auxiliary water heating source unit. CONSTITUTION:When hot water is to be dispensed, the hot water regulator valve 21 and the water regulator valve 22 disposed in the hot water outlet 2 are opened to a desired amount. In response, cold water filling the hot water pipe 6 flows into the hot water reservoir 9. If the temperature detected by the sensor 19 is lower than the set temperature of the opening/closing valve 17, the solenoid valve 18 is opened, and part of the incoming cold water from the hot water pipe 6 pushes up the hot water in the hot water reservoir 9. It also flows to the bypass pipe 14 to be mixed with high temperature hot water from the hot water reservoir 9 in the primary mixing section 24, and flows on to the secondary mixing section 23, while the rest of the cold water flows to the auxiliary hot water delivery pipe 15. When hot water from the main water heating source unit 1 reaches the hot water reservoir presently, the set temperature of the opening/closing valve 17 will be exceeded to cause the solenoid valve 18 to be closed, whereupon all of the hot water flowing in the hot water pipe 6 is routed through the auxiliary water heating source unit 7 to be dispensed out of the hot water outlet 2.</p> |
