PURPOSE:To enlarge the angle of lateral deflection of air flow and prevent a reduction of air blowing capacity by making the profile of the left and right hand side walls, which form the air flow passage and outlet of the outlet grill and front grill, into curved walls that expand toward the direction of outlet so that the areal size of the outlet may be enlarged. CONSTITUTION:Vanes 9 for lateral air flow deflection rotatably disposed in the outlet passage 3a of the outlet grill 3 are formed in the shape of arc, and both left and right hand side walls 3b of the outlet grill 3 and left and right hand side walls 2c of the front grill 2 are curved in conformance to the direction of curve of the vanes 9 for lateral air flow deflection to be widened toward the air flow direction. Vertical air flow deflection vanes 10 which are formed in a trapezoidal shape and are curved in a bow shape in such a manner that the windward length is larger than the leeward length in conformance to the outlet contour are made rotatable toward the side walls 3b. The reason why the lateral air flow deflection vanes 9 and vertical air flow deflection vanes 10 are curved is to deflect the air flow by the Coanda effect. |
