PURPOSE:To perform surely the gathering processing of forms when sets of copies whose number is larger than the total number of bins arranged in a sorter are obtained, by dividing a required number of sets of copies by the number equal to or smaller than the total number of bins and setting them automatically if the required number of sets of copies is larger than the total number of bins. CONSTITUTION:Three copy forms are stored in each of bins 53 in the first - fifth stages, and two copy forms are stored in each of bins 53 in the sixth - the 15th stages. If the required number of sets of copies is larger than the total number of pins 53, the required number of sets of copies is divided by the total number of bins 53, and the copying process is performed continuously plural times with the total number of bins as the number of sets of copies, and the copying operation is performed with the remainder number smaller than the total number of bins as the number of sets of copies, and plural sets of copy forms are stored in a part or the whole of bins and the copying operation including the gathering processing of the required number of sets is performed continuously. |
