PURPOSE:To provide a resin compsn. which has excellent resistance to chemicals and hot water and causes neither lowering in modulus under high-temperature conditions nor lowering in creep characteristics under a high load, by blending an arom. polysulfone with a polyether ketone having a specified intrinsic viscosity. CONSTITUTION:25-95wt% polyether ketone (A) having an intrinsic viscosity y satisfying formula I (wherein x is the quantity in wt% component A in a compsn. composed of components A and B) is mixed with 75-5wt% arom. polysulfone (B) to obtain the desired resin compsn. As component A, polyether ketone of formula II is preferred. As component B, arom. polysulfones of formulas III, IV are preferred. The resulting resin compsn. has an island structure in which the polyether ketone forms a continuous phase and the arom. polysulfone forms a dispersed phase, and the compsn. is suitable for use in the production of electronic parts, automobile parts, etc.
