PURPOSE:To provide an ink sheet imparting high printing density at the time of low energy and generating no wrinkles and preventing an image receiving sheet from losing of gloss, by constituting a support sheet of a thermosetting resin film. CONSTITUTION:A thermosetting resin film, pref., one with a thermal contraction ratio of 0.8% or less is used as a support sheet and an ink layer is provided thereon. As a thermosetting resin, a film forming homopolymer or copolymer such as a polyurethane resin, an epoxy resin, an unsaturated polyester resin, an amino resin or a phenol resin or a mixture thereof is used. The thickness of the thermosetting resin film is properly 2-20mum. The ink layer laminated to the support sheet consists of a sublimable dye, a non-sublimable dye or pigment and a binder and the thickness thereof is properly 0.1-10mum in general because transfer becomes inferior if said ink layer is too thick. By this method, sharp image having high printing density is obtained without generating wrinkles and losing gloss. |
