PURPOSE:To prevent generation of noise in consecutive pickup part and to realize excellent consecutive pickup by forming an erasure start end of an erasure pattern formed by plural erasure heads along an azimuth track. CONSTITUTION:An erasure head 1 comprising erasure heads 3a-3j operated selectively is connected to an erasure start circuit 12 comprising a trigger switch 13, an FF circuit 14, a shift register 15, a voltage controlled oscillator VCO 15 and a drive circuit 17 is mounting the head to a VTR 5. The erasure head 1 is connected to the circuit 12 at the recording mode of the VTR 5 and after the head 3a starts at first the erasure, the shift register 15 starts erasure in the order of the head part 3b to the head part 3j at a prescribed interval sequentially. Thus, excellent consecutive pickup is realized and generation of noise in the consecutive pickup is prevented. |
