PURPOSE:To position a resilient ring accurately in piston groove and mount by providing a head for pressing one endface of resilient ring and a slider contactable against the other endface of resilient ring at the restricting position of head. CONSTITUTION:The jig 25 is formed at the leading edge section of plural air- cylinders 26 planted on a turn table 23 while having the shaft section 27 to be fitted with piston P and the section 28 for supporting one endface of piston P from below. The slider 30 is formed tubular and fitted slidably over the supporting section 28 of jig 25 to support the endface of seal ring R at the upper end 30b while secured through a pin 33 to the piston head 32 of piston 31 reciprocal in the air-cylinder 26. The leading edge section 41a of head 40 arranged annularly with plural fingers 41 is positioned in flush with the upper sideface 10b of piston P through stopper member. |
