PURPOSE:To release a veneer from a sticked state at a same time by each releasing body by arranging a plurality of releasing bodies in the traveling direction of a suspension transportation passage for a sticking conveyor for transporting the veneer, over the whole length in the direction crossing at right angles with the fiber of the veneer, keeping a proper interval. CONSTITUTION:A sticking conveyor 1 is constituted by planting a number of needle- shaped bodies 2 onto plural stripes of endless belts and sticking a veneer A by said sticking bodies 2, and said conveyor 1 is transported at a high speed in suspended state in the traveling direction F crossing at right angles with the fiber in a suspension transportation passage X-X. Between the rows of the endless belts of the sticking conveyor 1, a plurality of releasing bodies 3 are arranged over a length L in the direction crossing at right angles with the fiber of the veneer A, keeping a proper interval in the traveling direction F. In this case, when the front edge of the veneer A is detected by a veneer detector 11, a machine frame 9 is shifted in the traveling direction F by an operating mechanism 10, and each releasing body 3 is turned all at once around a shaft 5 so that each releasing surface 4 crosses the suspension transportation passage X-X in the normal direction, and the veneer A can be released from the sticking conveyor 1. |
