PURPOSE:To enable miniaturization and the conservation of energy, by supporting a shutter plate above an element array and shaking the same in the direction parallel to the element array. CONSTITUTION:An element array 12, pyroelectric type infrared elements 12a, 12b different in a polarizing direction, a shutter plate 14 and bimorph type piezoelectric elements 15 supporting the shutter plate 14 are provided. When predetermined power is applied to the exciting electrodes of a pair of piezoelectric elements 15, the upper ends of said elements 15 are vibrated in the thickness direction thereof. When the amplitude thereof is made almost equal to the parallel arrangement pitch of the elements 12a and the vibration directions of a pair of the elements 15 are aligned, through-holes 21 reciprocate above the elements 12a and elements 12b of the array 12 and infrared rays are allowed to alternately and repeatedly irradiate the elements 12a, 12b of the array 12 and the output of the array is taken out from the terminal thereof. |
