PURPOSE:To manufacture an optical wavelength distributor of simple constitution using a small number of parts at low cost by cutting away the clad part of an optical fiber at plural positions, forming gratings which have different wavelength selectivity at the cut parts, and allowing wavelength multiplex light from the incidence end of the optical fiber to leak from the plural grating parts selectively. CONSTITUTION:The optical fiber 1 is interposed between an existent printed board 2 and a light reflecting part 3. The clad part of the optical fiber 1 is cut away at the plural specific positions (a)-(e) and grating parts 4 where light of one of different wavelengths lambdal1-lambda5 leaks are formed at the plane cut parts. Opening parts are formed at positions of the printed board corresponding to those grating parts 4 and light beams having the specific wavelengths leaking through the grating parts 4 are detected from the opening parts. The detected light signals are detected by a photodetecting element on the printed board 2 and made into specific output voltages, so that the light signals having the specific wavelengths are converted into electric signals. |
