PURPOSE:To aim at miniaturizing an electronic part inserting device, as a whole, by disposing direction change mechanisms for changing the feed direction of electronic parts, in a conveyor mechanism which is fed with electronic parts from a cassette in which several electronic parts are loaded, so that the electronic parts may be fed, three- dimensionally. CONSTITUTION:Electronic parts such as, for example, ICs are fed to a conveying mechanism 22 under action of an IC discharge mechanism 21 from the lowermost one of cassettes 3 loaded therein with several ICs and stored being vertically stacked in a cassette loading section 2 which are declined downward, and are then transferred into an insertion section 23. Further, the above-mentioned conveyor mechanism 22 is composed of an IC conveying section 25 which receives ICs from the discharge mechanism 21 and conveys the same to a predetermined discharge position, a first direction changing section 26 for changing the conveying direction of ICs fed from the IC conveying section, within a vertical plane, and a second direction changing section 27 for changing the conveying direction of ICs fed from the section 27 in a horizontal plane so as to direct ICs to an inserting section 23. The direction changing sections 26, 27 are provided with rotary mechanism 30, 31b, respectively. |
