PURPOSE:To prevent entrance of phosphoric acid electrolyte to detection termi nal by covering the end point of detection terminal with a thermal fusing mate rial of a thermosetting resin tube and powder. CONSTITUTION:A lead wire 9 of detection terminal 5a is covered with a thermo setting resin tube 6 with the tube protruded from the end point of lead wire 9 by several millimeters. The inside of tube 6 protruded is clogged with the end point of lead wire 9 and is then filled with powder 7 of thermosetting resin. Next, the tube 6 and filled powder 7 are simultaneously thermally fused and a thermally fused material 8 can be formed. As the thermosetting resin, a material which has electric insulation property and excellent heat and acid resistance, for example, a fluorine resin is used. The end point of lead wire 9 which is the end part of detection terminal 5a is generally covered with the thermally fused material 8 of the fluorine resin tube 6 and powder 7. Thereby, the end point of detection terminal 5a is never decorticated, preventing entrance of phosphoric acid electrolyte. |
