<p>The system consists of use as part of the mould proper of a hollow part of elastomeric material such as rubber or latex, which is closed and provided with inlets and valves for filling with a liq. or gas. This inflates the part until it coincides with the desired object. After hardening the material used to shape the object, the elastomeric part can be recovered by evacuating the fluid previously introduced. Higher pressures in filling can be achieved by use of additional parts. The mould parts are opt. discardable, and a coating of flexible, non-stick material, e.g. silicone, may be incorporated.</p> |
