This system comprises two machines 2, 3 for the moulding of biscuit halves 30, 31 on the active side 4a of a conveyor 4, out of a mixture 8 contained in a hopper 7. The two machines are mechanically coupled to the same motor so as to be synchronised in order that the second halves 31 of biscuit are moulded exactly against the first halves and so as thereby to form composite biscuits formed from two halves automatically joined together. <IMAGE>
