The base plate (3) of the rack has a series of parallel slots (12) across its width. Hooked into the slots are U-shaped channels (2) with long legs (6) towards the front of the rack and short legs (5) towards the rear. The long legs are cut at intervals in six places. Alternate sections (9) between the cuts are bent forward of the others (8). The channels are retained and guided into place by rollers (13). The end (14) of each channel carries a combined handle (18) and number slip holder (15). Each channel holds three cassettes (1) edge to edge. Record cards can be slotted into the front legs between the forward sections.
