The baking oven comprises a number of baking spaces defined by a tube assembly consisting of horizontally spaced units each having vertical tubes at opposite sides connected via vertically spaced transverse horizontal tubes and an inclined lowermost tube. The tubes are at least partly filled with liq. which evaporates by heating in the tube in a combustion gas duct with burners to set up gravity circulation of evaporated and condensed liq. Apart from the lowermost tubes, the transverse tubes have a smaller dia. than the vertical tubes (claimed). A cross flow fan may be arranged above the tube assembly, pref. near the openable oven front, to produce an upward air flow between the transverse tubes, the outlet flow passing down a duct at the rear to a plenum chamber below the assembly.
|
