In this traction block, comprising an elongated framework 1 with a transverse section in the shape of a U having a flat web 2 and two lateral wings 3 which are spaced apart and perpendicular to the web, two clamping blocks 5 of elongate shape, which are mounted movably between the lateral wings of the framework in such a way that a relative longitudinal movement between each movable clamping block and the adjacent wing of the framework engenders a transverse movement of the clamping block concerned, and a flat cover 8 parallel to the web of the framework and fixed to the latter in a detachable manner, the lateral wings 3 of the framework 1 are provided with tenons 15 which project on their end faces orientated towards the cover 8 and which are snugly fitted into corresponding cavities 16 in the cover. <IMAGE> |
