<p>A water pump rotor comprises a hub (1) on which is moulded a disc (7), a circular or parabolic transition region (2) extending between the hub and the disc. A reinforcing metal disc (4) is embedded in the disc, including in its transition region, after it has been coated on its both faces by plastic spraying. The reinforcing disc (4) comprises a hub part as an integral part of the hub, which enables to mount the reinforcing disc on a drive shaft.</p> |
