A display stand for the display of greeting cards simultaneously with other items. The display stand includes a greeting card display rack having a plurality of card display tiers, each tier including means for displaying at least one greeting card. A storage and display compartment is provided for containing the other items, the compartment having a permanent opening located below the greeting card display rack whereby, when items are contained therein, at least one of said items is visible and accessible via said opening. In preferred embodiments, the other items are roll wrap products. The display stand enables the more efficient and effective use of storage and display space within a retail environment.
