摘要 The device has two chambers (24, 34) which are sealed off from one another by means of a valve (44). The valve (44) is connected to a valve (56) via a plunger (38) which in the normal state closes off a channel (62) at whose outer end (66) a vent hole (68) is arranged. The device is screwed onto a valve (16) of a pneumatic tyre so that the air pressure prevailing in the tyre can be built up in the chamber (24) and in the chamber (34). After the pressure in the chamber (24) and the pressure in the chamber (34) have been matched to the air pressure of the tyre, the valve body (44) is seated on its valve seat so that the chamber (34) is sealed off with respect to the chamber (24). In the event of a defect in the tyre, the air pressure in the tyre drops and thus in the chamber (24), as a result of which a diaphragm (42) which is connected to the valve body (44) is deformed which simultaneously brings about a displacement of a plunger (38) which lifts off the valve body (44) so that a connection of the channel (62) to the chamber (24) is produced. In this state, air can flow outwards out of the tyre into the chamber (24) and the chamber (62) so that the vent hole (68) is activated. A cap (70) is fitted over the outer end (66) of the channel (62), which cap is forced off when air flows outwards through the channel (62). The vent hole (68) can produce sounds in the ultrasonic range so that monitoring displays can be excited in the passenger compartment of the vehicle by way of suitable transformation means ...
