Stretcher

The stretcher has at least one inclinable support part (14) which can be locked in the different inclined positions and is supported by at least one supporting strut (32) against the frame of the stretcher. The supporting strut (32) is fastened between a frame (16) surrounding the support part (14) and a bar (12) of the stretcher. It comprises two rods (35, 36) which can be displaced toward one another like a telescope and the lower one of these rods being formed as a hollow rod (35). The upper rod (36) of the supporting strut (32) has notches (41) for locking the upper rod (36). The locking device can be released with a lever (57).
