摘要 When controlling reactions, one or more F factors F(t) are employed as a measure for the progress of the reaction. These factors can be calculated from on-line measurements of the temperature T and of one or more selected, readily accessible concentrations C. <IMAGE> In this equation, f(T) and g(C) are functions of the temperature and the concentrations, T being the reaction time. At the end of the reactions, these factors must have reached certain values which mainly depend on the quality of the end products. This is achieved by optimising the course of the temperature and/or possibly the course of the concentration against time, which makes it possible to minimise the input of energy and raw materials. The method is particularly suitable for the process control of complex reactions in multi-component systems involving not readily measurable fluctuations in quality, concentration and reactivity of the starting materials. It can be implemented in a computer or computer module with process interfacing. <IMAGE>
