<p>A fencing wire support member comprises a frame (10), having a guard portion comprising a pair of rectangular plates (12, 13) supporting ground engaging tines (14, 15). The frame (10) carries at least two fencing wire support arms (16, 24, 25) having eyes (17, 26, 27) for engaging fencing wires. At least two of the fencing wire support arms (16) are electrically insulated from the frame (10) and provided with hand grips (18). Resilient wire tensioning means in the form of elasticated cords (21, 30) each engage one of the fencing wires (23, 28, 29) and either loops (19, 33) mounted on the frame (10) or another of the fencing wires (23, 28, 29) thereby to tension the fencing wires (23, 28, 29).</p> |
