The invention relates to a sledge kite having an inflatable M-shaped stabilising frame (4-7). It stops the kite from folding together in variable wind conditions and produces good aerodynamic characteristics for flying. The kite can be folded together down to pocket size and can be flown in both gentle and heavy winds. It can be used both as a toy and as a support for advertising purposes. <IMAGE>
