The present invention relates to a process for producing aqueous compositions comprising a water-soluble polymer in powder form. The object of the present invention is that process for producing a composition comprising a water-soluble powder polymer characterised in that powder polymer is first dispersed in a liquid medium in which it is insoluble and subsequently combined with the remaining of the formulation.
